About MADA Development

MADA Women Development South Sudan is a non-profit organization founded in January 2008 as Community Based Organization and officially registered in Warrap State in 2012 and in Juba with the Ministry in January 2014. However, with the new revitalized South Sudan NGO Act 20017 Policy, MADA is operating under South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission with registration 7555.

MADA assist community and local authorities in planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluation of basic services including emergencies preparedness in collaboration with other partners. The organization aims at empowering women to live productively with dignity and enable them to access basic human needs and become self reliance. MADA works to alleviate poverty by providing tools and skills to vulnerable population of the community

Our Mission:

• Our Mission is to “work for the development & empowerment of socio-economically disadvantaged & vulnerable people in South Sudan and assist them in addressing their poverty-linked issues”
• MADA (SS) promotes the literacy amongst the streets children/orphans for a better future in South Sudan as good leaders and productive citizens
• The organization works to promote harmony, peace, reconciliation, and peaceful co-existence amongst the communities.
